Event Overview

Date: April 17–18, 2026
Venue: Embassy Suites by Hilton — Washington DC Convention Center, 900 10th Street NW, Washington DC 20001

The 1st International Investment & Digital Finance Fair 2026 is a high-level, two-day convening that brings together banks, remittance service providers, fintech innovators, policymakers, development partners and diaspora leaders to accelerate safer, faster and lower-cost remittance channels between the United States and South Asia. Under the banner “Promoting Sustainable Remittances for South Asian Growth,” the Fair blends policy dialogue, technical demonstration, business matchmaking and community engagement to create practical pathways for financial inclusion, cost-reduction and cross-border cooperation.

This year’s program will feature authoritative sessions and global viewpoints — including dedicated panels from the World Bank, a keynote session by the IMF Managing Director, and a high-level presentation from the U.S. Treasury / Office of the State Treasurer — each focused on improving corridor efficiency, regulatory alignment, and digital payment solutions. Plenary discussions will examine how remittances support household welfare, stabilize national accounts, and drive sustainable development, while technical workshops will highlight API integration, real-time settlement, and consumer protection best practices.
