largest and most dynamic diaspora communities, these remittance flows represent vital economic and cultural connections that strengthen shared prosperity .Yet, high transfer costs, informal channels, and limited financial literacy persist.
This Fair aims to educate, empower, and connect building bridges that make money transfers faster, safer, and more transparent while celebrating the vibrant South Asian and US cultural heritage.
1st International Investment & Digital Finance Fair 2026 (IIDFF-2026) will be held on April 17–18, 2026, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Washington DC Convention Center, and is organized by In Search of Root Foundation (ISRF), a Washington, DC–based tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
The mission of the 1st International Investment & Digital Finance Fair 2026 (IIDFF-2026) is to serve as a global platform that promotes secure, transparent, and inclusive remittance systems while advancing strategic cross-border investment between the United States and South Asia. The Fair aims to connect policymakers, financial institutions, investors including small businesses, development partners, and diaspora communities to strengthen economic cooperation and sustainable growth.
To encourage South Asian diaspora communities to use responsible and compliant remittance channels and to recognize their role as key drivers of remittances, entrepreneurship, innovation, and long-term economic benefits for both host and home countries.
To promote innovation in digital remittance systems, regulatory compliance, and policy frameworks that reduce transaction costs, increase transparency, and encourage the use of formal financial channels.
To foster collaboration among governments, financial institutions, fintech companies, investors including small businesses, and development organizations to support sustainable economic development.
To showcase investment opportunities and market-entry pathways that encourage South Asian investment in the United States and U.S. investment in South Asia.
To bring together government officials, regulators, and multilateral institutions to discuss policies that support financial inclusion and cross-border investment
The IIDFF event will publish documentation from discussions held at various seminars, which will inform policy advocacy efforts aimed at facilitating trade policy at both government and business levels.
